Today, I was shocked at a news about a voice actor.

Yuichiro Umehara is in hospital because he has Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM).
He's stopping to work for recover the illness.
What's ADEM?

It's difficult for me to understand about the illness, but I was little bit relieved when I saw that "Full recovery is seen in 50 to 70% of cases, ranging to 70 to 90% recovery,average time to recover is one to six months."
I was had a stomach ache by seeing his name on the internet site during working.
I thought I mistook the name.
I think his fans are worried about it more than me.
We can only pry for his recovery.
Don't be afraid. Don't be cry.
The guy you love has strong heart and body.
梅ちゃんの突然の入院、休業に驚きを隠せませんが、ファンの皆さんの為にも早く回復して戻って来てくれることを願うばかりです。
そのままフェードアウトしてしまう可能性だって、あ、あるし・・・。
Wikiには成人の半数は後遺症なく回復する、ということですが、逆に言えば、回復しても多少後遺症が残ってしまう場合があるということ。
それが仕事に響くことなら・・・やむを得ず、みたいな。
病気は怖いね。
定期健診とかPET検査とかやっぱりしたほうがいいかな・・・。
